"Safe and Sound" --ACC Theme Song Announced The theme song for Advent Children complete will see Japanese vocalist Kyosuke Himuro (--performer of Calling, the theme used for Advent Children) team up with Gerard Way from the band My Chemical Romance. The two will perform a song "Safe and Sound" written especially for the movie. Nomura Hints at future FFVII Compilation Installment Tetsuya Nomura hinted at another installment in the FFVII series in the maybe distant future. When asked by a Japanese magazine about the next part of the compilation he replied -- "We do have an idea for the next Compilation, and for the time being, that's all we can say. ACC US Release -- It's Official! Sony Pictures has announced that Advent Children Complete will be released on Blu-ray in the US on June 16th. A Few ACC Updates Hey everyone! I've been busy studying past few days and luck would have it that I've missed a bunch of news. First up we have a couple of new scans from V-Jump magazine. Not the best quality, but some amazing artwork of Cloud and Sephiroth! --Scan 1 --Scan 2 Theres also been a ACC commercial added to the Japan Playstaton.com site. FF7AC Reunion also link to a downloadable version, but for the life of me, I can't get the download working! --Commercial + FF13 Promo @ Playstation.com --Commercial + FF13 Promo @ YouTube Finally, a novel will be released for 'On the Way to a Smile'. The book will cost 1470 Yen and will go on sale on 16 Apr. ACC Premiere Screenings in Japan If youre lucky enough to live in Japan, you can have the chance to see Advent Children Complete on the big screen! Square Enix Members (silver and above) have a chance to register for tickets to one of 8 screenings to be held on April 11 and 12. Around 800 people will be chosen for this opportunity. Screenings will be held at the Opus Communication Zone, Sony Building in Tokyo. ACC Post Card Book + Potion Re-Issue Two more things to add to the collection. Firstly, Advent Children Complete Postcard book --retailing at 1260 Yen. More surprising is a re-issue of the FFVII Potion and Compilation Ultimania --price unknown. Both are scheduled to be released the same day as ACC. ACC Complete English Release a Fake? Remember that English trailer/release date we posted about a week or so ago? Website Final Fantasy Union took the initiative to contact SE USA about it and they replied that "they could not confirm the US release date at this time". Sound familiar? I remember contacting SE USA about the Advent Children release date a few times when I was working on the mail desk, and always got that said response right up until the time of an official announcement. That said, its most likely a fake, but theyre not exactly denying an English release either. Keep your eyes open! Thanks to site visitor Anthony for the heads up on this info. --and Kotaku are usually a reliable source too.
